I am learning to add more details in my writing.
On a foggy sunday morning me and my dad went to the gym in Kaikohe to wait for Mtua Matt. But Matua Matt was not there yet. I felt nervous then Amaziah was waiting outside with his nana and Uenuku was eating in the car with his dad. Then I yelled out to Amaziah and then he said, “Hello Whetu.” Next Armani and Dallas-Rae got there at the same time. We were waving out to them.
Matua Matt got there then I dashed to my dad to tell him Matua Matt was there. My dad gave Matua Matt some gas money. When we got to the rugby fields Matua Matt said, “Put your uniform and rugby boots on, then we will go do some training.” Before that we sang a song. It goes like this - Who you feeling fired up x2. We are TNT. We are dynomite x2. We the Titans. We are the best x2. We are the Titans. We are the champs. Watch us tick and watch us boom. Tick Tick Boom. After that Matua Matt said, “We are going to have a little game of league.” But we did not get to have a game because the Mania team were waiting for us. Matua Matt said seven on five off. The seven on were me, Dallas, Armani, Tyson-Lee, Manaaki. Huhana, and Mark. Manaaki was the first to get the ball. He went straight through them but 7 players were not enough for Manaaki but then he tripped over. Then Manaaki passed the ball to Mark. Then Mark was running on the sideline. Huhana’s mum said, “Don’t go out!” Mark scored the try. Then it was the second half and Uenuku and Mark came off for Tyna and Manuera. Once Manuera jumped on the field Tyson-Lee passed the ball to Manuera and ran half way up the field. It was a great game. We won.
